Well, a new year is upon us and that can mean only one thing. It’s time for a new installment of The Flagpole Radio Café!!!!!

The next show is Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 7pm!!!!!!!!!! What’s that you say? “I’m sorry Martin, I’d love to see this show, but I’m going skiing.” No problem. Just cancel your ski trip. I’m sure when you tell the manager of the swanky resort you planned to ski at that you have to cancel your pre-paid vacation because you have to see The Flagpole Radio Café, he’ll understand and promptly refund your money. He will probably admire your confidence and singular character and might even throw in a few coupons to earn your business on a different non-Flagpole weekend. He may even say, “You know I heard such great things about this show, I might join you. Can you tell me how I can get tickets?” Besides, you can always go skiing in July when there are no Flagpole Radio Café shows during the summer months.

Anyway, if you are able to come, you are in for a real treat. First, Martin won’t be playing saxophone so right off the bat things are looking good. This month we are proud to have Stacy Phillips as our special guest artist. Now for those of you who are saying “who?” I entreat you to read on and learn about this outstanding musician who will grace our stage in two weeks.
